And thats a wrap- 1st soccer season

Lets just say that Jace is the best soccer player in the world...for about 3 seconds at a time. The other 59 minutes is spent.......

and throwing rocks. Unfortunately, we did not get a picture of him licking his ball. This happened on more than one occasion.

I have to say that Chad was the most amazing dad/coach(since our real super young coach didnt do much). As all the other parents were asleep on the sidelines(hey, I was chasing Brenna..) he would run around the sidelines yelling encouragement, taking pictures, and giving advice. It was the cutest thing ever and made me love my husband that much more.

A for EFFORT Jace and Chad!! Cant wait for next year! ;)

Haunted Train Ride

Decided to take a quick road trip up to the mts to meet Chad's older brother Kyle and his family.

And it begins.....first soccer practice

Now if anyone knows Chad, he grew up in a house that worshiped sports. His mom had 4 boys and spent every afternoon at some kind of practice or game. Chad was(Im sorry- IS)a great athlete, never misses a game on TV...basically his dream in life was to have a son that would play sports like he did. After buying the ball, nice shoes, cleats, soccer net, having numerous practices and pep talks....the moment is finally here!!

and then it comes crashing down after the first time one of the other kids kicks Jace's soccer ball. I had to cut the video short because the other parents were looking at me like I was the worst mom ever.

Celebrating Chad's and Jace's birthday together with our wonderful homeade cake. Jace wish that "Biscuit would get better". Biscuit was sick a few weeks back...all better now, but he just wanted to make sure. What a sweet boy.

We flew down to Dallas for a few weeks. We threw a party for Jace there. Here he is patiently waiting for his presents. Fun weekend having Grandpa Clint, all the uncles, Diana and Brett in town for his bday. You've never seen so many adults at a 4 year old bday.

I'll give all the credit to Kroger and Grandpa Steve for gracefully smashing the cake while taking it out of the box. Spiderman flies around the building- pretty fancy!

Visit to Rainforest Cafe and the croc! Aunt Shanny is the best aunt ever- always willing to babysit so mom can shop, read Jace stories(or from her text book)- please move in with me!

Weddings, celebrations, and reunions oh my!

Our first week staying at the Fawngrove cabin. Mommy spent a lot of time at the outlet malls. Kids spent their time chasing the dogs around outside. Weather was freezing but wonderful.

Happy 4th of July!! Spent the morning at the "interesting" Park City Parade. Dancing beer bottles, Brenna going up to every dog, Rocky Mnt chocolate, and one marching band...that didnt play. Good times, good times.
