Orange=October

October means a trip to our favorite pumpkin farm!

Tasha LOVED the corn but we couldn't keep them out of her mouth
Favorite part was the huge jumping pillow!

Mom can jump too
 twins

 where do we even start??
 Church Trunk or Treat

Brenna's preschool field trip to the Farmers Market.  Her best friend is Addie--they love to play pretend kitty cats.
Chad and Jace got to drive down to Atlanta for a boys weekend-- video games, milkshakes and mac and cheese and of course BYU game
Sometimes in the middle of screaming and arguing, I get to capture some sweet moments like these:
Getting ready for Halloween!!  Brenna loves Halloween more than anything.  She was very disappointed that our realtor would not allow us to hang Halloween decorations with the house up(no we havent sold yet!).  Tomorrow for Halloween though we are going ALL OUT!

Some big announcements!

What a special general conference this month!  We were all shocked to hear the prophet President Monson announce that the missionary age for boys would be 18 instead of 19.  Girls are able to go on missions at 19 instead of 21.  It is so EXCITING to see the work spreading across the world and that we need that many more missionaries to help teach of Christ.  That also means big expectations on us as parents to have them ready in time.
Jace said "Heavenly Father needs more missionaries to tell people about the church!  I'm going to China when I am 18."  I am really hopeful this will give my girls an opportunity to go as well!
How we got our kids to pay attention in conference--- they get a treat if they hear one of these words.  Lets just say we had to change the "Jesus"  cup from pretzels to carrots by the end of the day.
 Singing for halloween pumpkin candy!
In other news.....we finally filled up our huge money bucket to earn a trip to Disney!!
Mickey Mouse even sent a personal invitation!
 oh yeah, Tasha is excited

Their charts they have to check off each day to earn their trip...
The cupcakes were almost more exciting than the actual invite
And lastly I am proud to say we VOTED!  What a crucial election this year between Obama and Romney.  Our family cares about #1- Keeping this a God fearing country with core values and morals to keep families strong.  #2- Small government- giving people the freedom to choose- no more handouts! #3- strong economy and no obamacare that will really hurt our small business.  That why ROMNEY gets our vote!

Natasha Rae- 13 months

I just love this girl!  Had to remember some of my favorite pictures.  She has been SUCH a joy!  I could have 10 more of her.
Her favorite food- she can suck one down in 10 sec flat
always making a mess and climbing on things- nicknamed walking tornado of destruction
One of her fav spots--moms bathroom cupboards
My favorite time of my day is when I walk in to get her in the morning.  She shakes the crib and squeals in delight.  Its the best.
Biscuit lives under Natasha's high chair.

Beach trip at grandmas

We LOVE to visit great grandma Barnes down in Hampstead...not like the beach has anything to do with it ;) Gotta love NC weather--warm and just beautiful for the beach.  2 weeks later we are looking at a hurricane and a high of 45.
Grandma loves when we can escort her to church and she can show us off to all her friends.  She held onto Jace almost whole sacrament meeting.  He was a good sport and let her although he gave me a few "Im dying save me!" faces. You have to talk REALLY loud because grandma is almost deaf.  At one point he yelled out- Grandma do you want a fruit snack??-- everyone laughed.  Precious memories though- we never know how long she will be around.
Chad decided to pose grandma in this picture....
Working hard in her kitchen- precious sight.
Natasha was terrified of grandma at first.  By the end of the weekend they were best friends.

Spent most of his time looking for sand fiddlers
Boy oh boy did Natasha LOVE the beach.  We couldn't keep her out of the water.  She also had to try a bite of every sea shell on the beach.

 Best beach buddies
