Happy 1st Birthday Natasha!

NO NO NO!  I hate when this happens.  Why can't they all stay babies forever.  Especially this one.  My sweet perfect baby Natasha.  What a joy you have been this last year.  Can't imagine life without her.  Her fav things-- eating and eating very nosily I might add, climbing the stairs, snuggling with stuffed animals, playing chase on the couch with Jace, hanging on moms legs when Im trying to cook dinner, singing Skid a merink and Bumble bee tuna, playing with her magnetic shapes and mailbox, playing in dishwasher.  Dislikes- masks, peaches, almond milk, napping at church, being hungry, having to follow mom and dad around the kitchen, riding in the car.

She meant serious business eating this cake.
1 year check up-- 50% in height and weight, 30% in head.  Jace 7 years old
watching Jace and Brenna at gymnastics.  She will stand there forever--just captivated!
loves to empty out the drawers.  She also just started this new thing where she gets "shy" when people look at her.  If both Chad and I smile, she covers her face in a pillow and slowly looks up.  so cute!
birthday present from Jace and Brenna.  I promise she liked it.
Fun to compare Brenna at 1 years old to Natasha- even in the same dress!  Brenna def chunkier and darker but pretty darn close!  Love my girls ;)

wow has Jace grown.

Brenna's 1st day of Preschool and 1st lost tooth

Brenna Barnes- 4 years old.  Jace was so excited to drop her off at his old turf--Ms. Jans preschool.  Brenna loves seeing her friends, coloring pictures, and learning new songs.  The only thing she doesnt like is having to brush her hair before school.  Still look at that hair!  Its naturally curly and perfect.  Not fair.

We also lost our 1st tooth!!  The tooth fairy was super nice and left 3 dollars under her pillow.
Just had to post a few pictures in remembrance of the pool ;( last day to enjoy...probably for a long time since we are selling our house.  Many a good memory at the pool.  Kids loved to buy popsicles for a quarter, Jace loved playing basketball with his dad, and Brenna usually met and was best friends with every kid by the time we left.

7 Big Ones!

Started out the birthday weekend with a hunt in Hampstead!  This is a long going tradition that started the weekend I delivered Jace when Chad left me at the hospital to dove hunt. Im going to try and never have a baby in September again...
Priceless picture with 98 year old Great grandma Barnes, cousin Ella and Clayton
They got to go visit the battleship when it got too hot to hunt.  Jace said the best part of hunting was watching Uncle Bryce kill the dove, playing violin for grandma, and watching football.
When the boys came home, I had a little family part set up.  Avengers all the way baby
Favorite foods- cheese pizza, cheese puffs, Reeces muddy buddies, and Dr Pepper.
The boys-- Uncle "Moose Knuckles"(dont ask) and Poppa Clint

 Best friend and cousin Ava
 Getting ready for baptism!!
Yonanas ice cream maker-- you only use frozen fruit.  awesome!
and the best gift of all.......

A NEW Amazing Spiderman muscle light up costume!!!!
The old one had its share of adventures......From Santa when he was 3
Time to retire the body hugging suit....

 Spiderman joins the Avengers!

Second best gift--- 27 REAL dollars from poppa clint
Dads gift-- a real bow
This is the best 7 year old in the whole world.  He is such a good example to his friends and family.  Love my boy xoxo

Bday, babysitting, baby steps, and bye bye

Chads office staff left him quite a surprise....
Married to an old man I am.  Happy 32nd bday Chad!  Look at all his fancy gifts!  oh and he bought himself a new car.  poor guy
 Pizza cutter
 Duke Sweatshirt
Spiritual giant!  Preparing for his role as seminary teacher/sub.  and I happened to just get back from education week.
I finally made it!  BYU education week with my best friend.  Ive always wanted to go and thought it was about time for Chad to be left home with the kids instead of me.
Good old dorms!  They actually tore down my old place in Heritage to re-make Heritage nice and new.
So excited that we got to make a visit to my favorite temple.  It was the first time Diana had been through a live session.  There is nothing better than being with family in the temple.

Every single class we went to was fantastic!  The overall impression I got was to just KEEP TRYING!  Do your best and endure to the end.  It will all be worth it.
I also got to hang out with Reeder and Dee for a weekend.  They just decided to move back to Dallas for jobs.  Im so jealous but so happy for them!
Chad did well with all the kids--he even attempted a movie with all 3!  Here is a video he sent just to break my heart....
BIG NEWS!  My baby is walking!!  Her record is 7 steps so far.  She still relies on her speed demon crawl but loves to stand up and bounce up and down.
SAD NEWS--- yep time to sale the house to keep with our move every 2 years tradition.  We bought the house as an investment and its time to move onto another investment property.  This is been the best house and neighborhood so Im hoping it'll take a long time to get an offer.
Poppa Clint visit= guaranteed night at Chuckie Cheese!  (much to my delight)

Poppa also treated the kids to their favorite place Marbles Museum.  Brenna is obsessed with the pet doc office.
Jace had fun doctoring up himself

Natasha has this thing with stuffed animals.  She attacks, kisses, bites, and lays on top of them.

To end our fabulous month, we got to have our favorite cousin Ava stay with us while the boys went hunting.
