Natasha's blessing- Dec 4th 2011

Beautiful day to be blessed!  We were planning on blessing her in Utah with all the family but was asked by the bishop to bless her in our home ward at the last min.  I was a bit disappointed but it ended up being a great day. My friend was kind enough to lend us a beautiful dress.  Is there anything sweeter than having your child blessed??

A few things said in the blessing that I want to remember:
*develop physically and spiritually
*brought at this time for a special purpose
*desire to know Heavenly father and savior
*choose the right, discern right from wrong
*marry to the right person at the right time in the temple
*abilities to be a good mother, patient

Thanksgiving in Utah

Second trip of the year to Utah....for another wedding! Jace is on year round school so we got to make it a long trip since he was tracked out. It was so beautiful! Snow up in the mountains of Deer Valley and good times with family made for a perfect trip.

The only pic I got of us at Bretts wedding...more to come! It was such a perfect day. Brett was sealed to Brittany on Nov 19th 2011 in the Draper Temple. They looked SO completely in love. They had their reception at a place in Lindon with a super yummy food, guitar player, and the best sugar cookies ever. We are so excited to have Brit in the family! They now live in Dallas where Britt works as a nurse and Brett is finishing dental school.

Like the good ol days with our best friends Danny and Amanda. Breaking Dawn + outlet shopping + dinner with our friends = perfect day!!

Park city! We got to stay in the most amazing cabin and Im so mad I didnt get more pictures of it. We spend most of our time enjoying the steam room, theater room, and outdoor jacuzzi. It was sooooo nice and relaxing. We had a huge Thanksgiving meal with the Huntsmans, Randalls, and Dances. yes I gained 10 lbs that day. Chads smoked turkey stole the show.

We got to spend about a week at Grandma Sandi's house too! It was so much fun because both Brittany and Blair just had babies too. and of course those pictures were on the SD card we lost.

Grandma Sandi let Jace and Brenna come attend 1st grade! Jace was soooo excited. Brenna is so tall, she fit right in. It was so hard to leave Sandi- we love her so much!

Visit with great grandparents!

One of the best parts of our trip was being able to visit the greats! A lot of kids never really get to know their great grandparents. I feel really lucky they get to make some memories with them before they die.

(Sadly this one the only pic I got with them on my phone. We took a ton of great pictures with our other camera and somehow Chad lost that priceless SD card....)

Our trip down to Logan was really special because this is where Karma and Norm are from. We loved seeing their old homes and places they would visit. We stopped and got chicken at Maddox and yummy shakes and chocolates at Bluebirds. We also got to visit the family grave plots and hear heroic stories about our ancestors.

We met up at the Grand America to say goodbye. Great Grandma and Grandpa took the kids to a neat toystore.

Family

I feel so overwhelmingly thankful for my little family. It has been so nice to be forced to slow down these last few months and enjoy time with these special spirits. My favorite thing is to watch how they interact with each other and help each other out. Jace is always bringing home Brenna something from the treat box at school instead of getting something for himself. Brenna is always waiting on the front steps to wave at her big brother as the bus drives by. Jace will always volunteer to make up the bottle and Brenna is the best at getting the diaper stuff ready. AND there is healthy does of screaming and teasing along with it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE being a mom(and I remind Chad when he is out of town- not a single mom..just a mom).

We decided to take the kids for FHE to visit the Raleigh temple which is about 50 min away. I love teaching them about forever families and how important it is to prepare for the temple. Sweet memory with the fam--along with a stop at Dickies and Toys r us. Gotta bribe them some how!

Boy stuff

Soccer season #2 is done! Sadly I only got to see the very last game because I was home with a newborn. Jace did great this time around and was always one of the top scorers.
