Some big announcements!

What a special general conference this month!  We were all shocked to hear the prophet President Monson announce that the missionary age for boys would be 18 instead of 19.  Girls are able to go on missions at 19 instead of 21.  It is so EXCITING to see the work spreading across the world and that we need that many more missionaries to help teach of Christ.  That also means big expectations on us as parents to have them ready in time.
Jace said "Heavenly Father needs more missionaries to tell people about the church!  I'm going to China when I am 18."  I am really hopeful this will give my girls an opportunity to go as well!
How we got our kids to pay attention in conference--- they get a treat if they hear one of these words.  Lets just say we had to change the "Jesus"  cup from pretzels to carrots by the end of the day.
 Singing for halloween pumpkin candy!
In other news.....we finally filled up our huge money bucket to earn a trip to Disney!!
Mickey Mouse even sent a personal invitation!
 oh yeah, Tasha is excited

Their charts they have to check off each day to earn their trip...
The cupcakes were almost more exciting than the actual invite
And lastly I am proud to say we VOTED!  What a crucial election this year between Obama and Romney.  Our family cares about #1- Keeping this a God fearing country with core values and morals to keep families strong.  #2- Small government- giving people the freedom to choose- no more handouts! #3- strong economy and no obamacare that will really hurt our small business.  That why ROMNEY gets our vote!
